Sawyer + the Grove

WHO WE ARE

We've been in the industry for over 20 years and are a small, women-owned business located just outside Pittsburgh, PA.

Sawyer + The Grove specializes in more than cabinets and furniture — we offer services that are unique to us, including field measures even if we aren't handling the installation, backed by over 20 years in the construction industry. All of our custom and semi-custom cabinets and furniture are manufactured and assembled in the USA — specifically Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.

We're a small, woman-owned business located just outside Pittsburgh, PA. Kari, the owner, runs the design and business side; David, her husband, runs the technical and installation side, with the help of experienced carpenters and designers, so every project gets both a design eye and a builder's eye from day one. That combination, along with our years of hands-on experience in all things construction, means we can guide you through the entire process — including installation, not just the build.

We care about our customers and our community, which is why we created the Cabinets to Canopy Initiative, our pledge to plant back into the earth for qualifying projects. We're currently partnered with the Audubon Society of Western PA on this effort.
We're always growing so we can fit a wider range of budgets and styles, adding furniture, builders, and custom options you can't get elsewhere in the Western PA area, plus new levels of cabinetry from stock to semi-custom.

David and Kari, originally from Ohio, met in Pittsburgh and decided to plant their roots in Butler County, PA, where they live with their three young children. David brings a lifetime of carpentry experience, while Kari's background as an environmental biologist influences their business practices.

Kari's passion for environmental sustainability has led to the creation of Sawyer + The Grove and their donation pledge, The Cabinets to Canopy Initiative. This initiative reflects their commitment to giving back to the environment and the community.
